「We had a lovely room, with a good bed, linens and bathroom. Staff were welcoming and friendly and we had an excellent dinner.」

「It was a very mixed stay, although overall it was positive. The first room we were given was very dirty. The walls in particular were yellow and marked, including hand prints on the walls and mould on the curtains (pictured attached). The room was very hot and the window didn't open - no air conditioning either. It was quite small and cramped. Premier inn would have been a lot better. 「Beautiful room and en-suite in a lodge with four others, tucked away at the back of the garden. Very comfortable. Especially appreciated two armchairs, decent size fridge and small outside area with table and chairs. Evening meal in the pub was also excellent. Lovely beer garden and attentive hosts. We didn't have breakfast as making an early start but ordered a packed lunch which was very handy.」

「Host cancelled the booking with less than 24 hours of notice (apparently due to a double booking) when I had already travelled to the area, which left me high and dry at the last minute. I had booked nearly 2 weeks in advance so there should have been plenty of time for this to be flagged in their system. I understand that these things happen, but the lack of notice was unacceptable and caused considerable inconvenience. Caveat emptor」
