「A tastefully and comfortably modernised pub in a somewhat downbeat village near the M1 and airport but surprisingly quiet. The M1 is white noise in the background. I couldn't hear the planes. Rooms in the pub's grounds were comfortable with parking right outside and the food was amazing, including breakfast. No soggy mushrooms! If I was a lone female traveller I would feel particularly safe here. Very happy that we broke our journey overnight and will definitely do so again. 」

「We had a lovely stay at the Bingham Townhouse. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. It was quiet despite being at the front (roadside) of the hotel. The room had an effective blackout blind to keep the light out. Biscuits and hot chocolate were supplied, as well as the usual tea & coffee... and a bath!!
