"This hotel was like something out of a romance novel! It is in an old home/building with high ceilings and a beautiful balcony overlooking the property. The staff is extremely kind and helpful and the rooms are large and well appointed. We loved it and would stay here again if we have the chance to return. We purchased the optional breakfast and it was good. Parking was easy and there were two electric charging stations."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Maison 1642. The hotel was beautiful and sparkling clean. We believe it was recently renovated and it was so pretty. The location was great too. We would love to return and stay again at Maison 1642."

"Great staff, lovely room, close to Beaune centre, great breakfast and excellent attention to detail."

"Great location"

"Comfortable little hotel, well located, just a few minutes walk from the town centre. Secure on-sie parking. Cannot fault it - great value for money fr a one-night stop-over"

"This is a very well priced hotel which has a family fun feel with care and attention to the communal areas and outside spaces with plants and flowers and old shutters. Lovely helpful staff. The rooms are very clean and what you expect for the price. No kettle is a shame but staff provided hot water on request. Great for an overnight stay with good parking."

"Ample public parking just in front of the hotel (free for 6pm till 9 am) Rooms are spacious and you definitely get the feeling of being in an historical place."

"Wow. This was just an exceptional stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We felt so welcomed and were given some great recommendations for where to go during our holiday. The Chateau itself was just beautiful. The view from our room was incredible and the interior was stunning. I cannot wait to return!"
