Laid back and place

This is a wonderful Hotel in town walking distance to bars and restaurants. The room was great and the bed was very comfortable. Will definitely stay here again when a come through Beaune.

Quality hotel in quiet surroundings

This hotel was central, but in a quiet street in Beaune. The room was good and had a very spacious bathroom. Breakfast was great, but a bit expensive. Service was just wonderful. Very friendly.

Beautiful place, if you don’t need a lift.

Beautiful hotel with large, elegant rooms. Only issue is no elevator and the stairs are steep and narrow. It is right in the middle of town, convenient to everything. Staff was very helpful with restaurant reservations.

Perfect location with tons of history

Incredible hotel filled with history. The front desk staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. The breakfast is fabulous. It is important to note - no elevator and areas with small staircase. Otherwise the setting is beautiful and peaceful. Location is absolutely perfect

Very clean & quiet. Updated bathroom & top quality bed. Excellent staff with helpful recommendations and assistance with restaurant bookings, etc. Very good breakfast with fresh juices, pastry, cheeses and cooked eggs or omelettes available upon request. Everything we wanted to see was within a short walk including the train station which we used for the short trip to Dijon for a day.

Beautiful medieval surrounding

The attendants at the front desk were extremely helpful and welcoming. The room was beautiful and the bed was extra comfortable. It was located at the top of a tower. We had a tasty breakfast in a nice old castle room. The blending of old architecture and modern design is stunning and of high quality.

A romantic stay

A beautiful old hotel with a lovely courtyard. The room was very spacious and had a gorgeous large modern bath. They had a beautiful bar area also. Our breakfast was in a room with candlelight. Very nice! My only exception was that we were on the 3rd floor with heavy luggage and a small staircase -no elevator! Good location within walking distance to almost everything.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Les Remparts Hôtels et Demeures Historiques earlier this week (Sept 2024) as we wrapped up a two week trip. Having spent 7 nights on a longboat down the Rhine River, we loved the spacious room and bath/shower, along with the beautiful accommodations and finishes in our room. We didn't realize the significant historical significance of the property until we had gotten home. Arnaud greeted us and took great care of us, including getting us settled and luggage to our third floor room, restaurant recommendations, directing us where to grab our bag lunch for our all-day wine tours, breakfast service, pouring the best wine, etc. And Louie saw us off and ensured our prompt trip to the train station. Thank you, Arnaud and Louie! We loved the fresh breakfast and great coffee, nice breakfast area, wonderful patio/courtyard area and cool bar area with an awesome wine list. The assistance with wine tour recommendations, restaurant reservations, tips and advice, etc etc was spot on. We commend Bruno and Emmanuelle on a beautiful property and preserving such a historic treasure! Along with employing the nicest and most courteous staff we came across on our two week trip to France, Germany and The Netherlands, you won us over as the only place to stay when we are back in Beaune.
