Lovely hotel, a good breakfast and friendly staff. Our room was massive (studio) and the bathroom and bedding was spotless. My only complaint would be the carpet in our room needed replacing, it was worn and stained.

It’s said that its rooftop bar is the tallest in Budapest but I didn’t have a chance to try it. It’s walkable to quite a few famous places. The breakfast is nothing special which you could expect from the European hotel but is above average.

Really enjoyed my stay. The rooms were confortable, the breakfast was great. The spa area was nice, but the swiming pool was closed for renovation. The bar at the rooftop had a nice view. The region around is walkable with many options

Double bed was 2 singles pushed together My window view was of a corridor So all 500 guests could see in to bedroom When walking past if curtains are open Fridge in room was warm Room felt dark with no natural light Swimming pool was empty Breakfast was a disappointment Roof terrace had great views But would not like to be up there when it’s busy As raised area Is constructed of wood And was moving in the wind The lobby via entrance looks the business But unfortunately the rooms are definitely not 4 star more 2/3 stars in my opinion But it a great location for walking about Very central

Great location

Not long back from our stay. Lovely hotel in a great location, walking distance to everything. Great facilities and helpful staff. The rooftop igloo bar had a better view than some of the more touristy rooftop bars & served delicious cocktails/hot palinka drinks. Breakfast had a great selection of foods & our gluten free needs were accommodated without issue, staff even remembered us & provided GF bread each morning without being asked. We made use of the hot tub , the only thing that could’ve made this hotel better would’ve been the indoor pool being in use (but we were aware at the time of booking). Would definitely go back

I stayed at the Hotel President in Budapest and was extremely satisfied with my experience. The cleanliness of the entire property is impeccable; the rooms are tidy and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing environment. The wellness area is a true highlight of the hotel. The spa offers a variety of services, including a sauna, massage room, and a well-equipped gym, allowing guests to unwind and rejuvenate after a day of sightseeing. The Hotel is in a great location. About between 3 - 5 minute walk to two different metro lines and stations. Great Breakfast, salty and sweet options, many various foods, fruits and choices. The President has the best breakfast that I have had in Europe. Friendly staff and welcoming environment.

Very good stay - staff and location ideal. Only 'downside', bars shut at 10pm. Eould havd been nice to have been able to come back for a drink after being out all day. This wouldn't be an issue for others. Would highly recommend!

Fair enough for the price.

Easy check in and out. Waited like 2 minutes. It is close the center and restaurants. Room was overall clean and spacious. Nothing heard from the other rooms except for other rude people shouting while getting in or out to their rooms in the middle of night. Breakfast was more than enough. It’s more like French breakfast. Pool was out of service. Spa was working during the stay. I would recommend this hotel for short-term accommodations. 7/10
