「It looked pretty new and the room was big and clean. There were always snacks in the lobby area which was nice. There was a small box of Christopher Elbow chocolate in the room as a welcoming gift and we enjoyed it. 」

Outstanding spotless and clean room! Delicious breakfast served at 9 o'clock, and a very accommodating and nourishing "to-go" breakfasts prepared for us on the road as we had over 550 miles to drive the following day, Woodstock is a definite stay if we pass through in the future!」

「This was a very clean hotel. Breakfast was good and it was only 3 minutes from Children's Mercy. The shower was fantastic! Great water pressure and a good shower head. The only reason I gave it 3 stars was because the beds were horrible. Not just in our room, but also our daughter and granddaughter said they didn't sleep well because the bed was so uncomfortable. We had king beds in both rooms, so I can't speak for the queen beds.」

The room has quality mattresses, upscale pillows, bedding, and towels, and looks modern with newer furnishings and carpet. Everything has been remarkably clean and pleasant. I can highly recommend staying here, and we would be happy to come back again.」

「Great place to stay, very rustic with great amenities. Beautiful pond in the back with walking paths. Very relaxing outside. The staff was great too. They also had an indoor to outdoor pool. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because we thought the mattress was a little uncomfortable and they could use better pillows. It was conveniently located to restaurant and the Cable Dahmer Music Venue.」

「I didn’t hate my stay, but I didn’t love it either. Our first night was a bit overwhelming. We were out most of the evening and returned around 11:00 p.m. to a completely packed bar. It felt more like walking into a nightclub than a hotel lobby—people everywhere and extremely loud. We thought we’d check out the rooftop bar to see if it was quieter, but as soon as the elevator doors opened, we turned right back around and called it a night. 「I am shocked at how high of stars this hotel had when it is average at best. The hotel is a whole complex which was difficult to navigate and even find the hotel. It is on a beautiful property, but the beds feel like you’re laying on cheap plastic and the breakfast is disappointing. (No waffle maker, which is always what I’m looking for at hotel breakfast). Overall it was a fine overnight but certainly does not deserve the excellent rating listed. Okay at best」
