「The first room did not appear to be completly clean and was not in great shape as the floor was damaged, the deadbolt was stuck open so the door wouldn't shut, and it needed a fresh coat of paint etc. I alerted the staff and was immediately moved to a room on the second level that was the same room but in much better shape. This process was relatively painless, and the rest of the stay was very positive. The hotel is in a good location and close to a lot of bars and restaurants, all walkable. I...

「The staff were great and helpful. The location is a 10 minute walk to the Plaza. Our room was clean and updated. The only negative was the room had a damp/musty feel. It needs a good dehumidifier.」

「It looked pretty new and the room was big and clean. There were always snacks in the lobby area which was nice. There was a small box of Christopher Elbow chocolate in the room as a welcoming gift and we enjoyed it. 」

「No microwave was astonishing. No ice machine on the floor was also a problem (waited 20 mins for ice from reception). Bed is definitely outdated and uncomfortable. Disappointing that nothing was complimentary (I guess the ice and soap were). The bathroom and shower were great. Soaps were great. We loved the silence. The staffs energy and optimism could improve as well.」

「The hosts were great. We arrived in the city early and they allowed us to keep our luggage there during the day until check-in. The host had brought our bags up to the room. When we checked in, we were given a very welcoming tour of the house and orientation. The house is very centrally located close to shopping, Union Station, restaurants, and the streetcar.
