Staff was great and breakfast was a nice variety and very good. I was just surprised by the $25/day parking charge. With us checking in about 7:45 Friday night and checking out around 8:10am Monday morning, we were charged a full $25/day, so $100 total unexpected charge that I hadn’t seen mentioned on their website. That was disappointing.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, our rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. The hotel was good with communicating a situation with our stay before the stay and was able to make accommodations for us. We ate breakfast at the breakfast buffet one morning, good selection of food. We were close to everything we waned to do. We were in town primarily to see Hamilton at the Kansas City Music Hall, it was 7 mins from the hotel. We would definitely stay here again.

We went to the NCVF National collegiate volleyball championship. I chose this hotel because it is close to the convention center. I did the research before I booked the hotel and people said there was a free KC street car running around the downtown. When I asked the lady at the front desk and she told said there was no free public transportation around here. I had to uber if I wanted to get to downtown which wasn’t true. I hope the employees who worked at the hotel should be more helpful or should not give customers wrong information. The lady who worked at the breakfast areas on Thursday, Friday and Saturday morning was awesome.

Cost is extremely high, double what is was a year ago. Room was clean but parking was terrible. Had to park across the street and climb up and down steep stairs with a poor railing.
