「Love the room, clean, all the necessary facilities, quiet. Food was great, breakfast freshly cooked and included in the room cost. What’s not to like. Staff also very friendly, helpful and and attentive.」

「Had a very good overnight stay… Dinner & breakfast were very tasty and well cooked. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The bedroom looked a bit tired on first impressions but was comfortable and the shower was excellent. 」

「Lovely hotel, beautiful old main house with wood fires, panelled rooms, lots of lounges and spots to relax. Friendly reception and clean modern rooms in the mews. Plus two cats! Only thing to mention is that the signs for the outbuildings were a bit difficult to see when we arrived (in the dark & heavy rain), maybe they could be illuminated too? Otherwise a nice place to stay, we would like to go back and explore more of the history, grounds, bunker and restaurant.」

「The room was clean, warm, and cozy, with plenty of parking available and friendly, welcoming staff. The only thing I missed was a few hooks in the bathroom to hang towels. There was a gig one evening, but we didn’t hear a thing (we were on the second floor), so it was nice and quiet, which we really appreciated. Thank you for a comfortable stay, we’ll likely be back.」
