Beautiful Hotel, right in the middle of Stratford Upon Avon. Breakfast was beautiful and staff were very helpful. Opposite RSC and River Avon, Parking was £10 for weekend stay. Excellent value.

A fairly large hotel with a car park opposite the RSC, so very convenient if you want to see a show. The room was fairly large and comfortable. I didn't have food or drink there but it looked OK. I'd definitely go back.

Heerlijk hotel op een geweldige locatie! Personeel was vriendelijk plus bij het binnenstappen van de hotelkamer was er een welkomst drankje wat enorm in de smaak viel. Diner was heerlijk evenals het ontbijt!

Nice hotel, pleasant staff and and a fantastic location for the theatre; could do with some updating in a number of areas. Nice restaurant and bar for evening meal, but the continental breakfast wasn't great and didn't really feel worth the cost.

The hotel room (Cedar) was tired (worn carpets and chairs) and the bathroom was especially poor in a very poor state - lots of mould and limescale around the taps and under the toilet seat, missing sealant around the tiles, toilet seat needed replacing.

Amazing location - almost anywhere you would like to go is less than 15 minutes on foot! The snacks and fruits in the room were more than any other hotel we have seen. Having parking in the hotel itself was extremely convenient. And the staff were all wonderful. For people with limited mobility, it may be a problem as there are lots of steps and no elevators. Other than that, everything is great!

Having been a patron of The Arden Hotel many times, I booked a two-night stay, Monday and Tuesday, as a birthday present for my 91-year-old mother-in-law. Unfortunately, she fell ill. I contacted the hotel at 9am on Sunday—more than 24 hours before check-in—and explained the circumstances. I was told to email, then directed to Expedia. As a Gold member, Expedia assisted immediately and called the hotel, but nobody with authority was available to approve a charge waiver. Despite offering to rebook, I was charged for the first night. Given the notice, genuine illness and my previous custom, I expected greater flexibility and compassion from a hotel of this standard.

If you're visiting the RSC then there really is no better hotel; across the road from the main entrance and just down the road from the Dirty Duck. Along with the ideal location, the service is of a high standard and rooms very well appointed (air conditioning, comfortable bed, safe, and large bathroom). We enjoyed breakfast both mornings (there were no problems at all in accommodating small additions to the standard menu) and an excellent a la carte meal one evening. We really couldn't fault any element of our stay and highly recommend you pay the Arden and their wonderful team a visit.

Very handy for the RSC, lovely food both at dinner and breakfast. Room was extremely hot which is the only criticism, it was spacious and the bathroom was really lovely.
