It was kind of a weird stay in all honesty. The room we’d requested (2 beds) was not what we were given. So showed us 2 other options, one which felt like a subterranean/basement room- the other ( which we ended up with ) was uncomfortably warm ( we ended up opening a window even though it was 8 degrees. They sent someone to separate and make the beds into twin and a (ugh) random fake nail was left on the side table (kinda gross) . Maybe the housekeeper found it on the ground and thought it was ours? It wasn’t. The hotel room had a funky smell to it ( the restaurant also did) . It’s quite a maze to navigate. Staff were friendly although the night we checked one of the ladies at reception desk was clearly very unwell and coughing and sniffing and blowing her nose frequently which was a little off putting. I saw her working in the dining room the following evening so we skipped the restaurant entirely. We weren’t told that you need a token to exit the parking lot ( if you have a car I’d suggest asking in advance) so that would have been helpful to know before getting in the car, and attempting to drive out. Beds were comfy. Overall fairly clean room ( carpets could use a refresh) Mostly quiet ( aside from some strange loud plumbing/utility room noise) The reception is very modern but the rooms are quite dated. You can’t beat the location - short walks to everything. The pub next door has amazing food and atmosphere. Wouldn’t stay again as we left pretty unimpressed.

The room was everything we needed for a night in Stratford Upon Avon. The hotel is central and walking distance of dining, shops and attractions. The reception welcomed us and showed us directly to our room which was a nice touch. Staff were very nice. The rooms are spacious although a little creaky. We could hear the guests above us walking around of an evening and morning. Bed and bedding very comfortable and overall we enjoyed our stay with the best part being the convenience of location. Thank you.

Room was unique, bathtub was amazing. The hotel was extremely close to the other place and RSC, which we truly loved. For those who have mobility issues you may want to enquire 1st before making the booking as there where a lot of different levels. My only complaint is that the complimentary wine was terrible and really was not worth the lovely glasses that we had with it.

I have a very good stay at the Arden Hotel. It is in the perfect location across from the Royal Shakespeare Theater. The rooms are clean, spacious and we had a fantastic view. The food was very good. We were running late and called to change the time of our reservation. They were very accommodating. I definitely recommend the hotel and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Loved our stay at The Arden. Dead opposite the RSC and just a couple of minutes from The Other Place where we went to ser MacBeth. Room was huge (superior room), great air con, a great and powerful shower and with nice tea, coffee and snacks. Only one poor thing was the breakfast. We paid 20 pounds each for a full english. My scrambled egg was sat in a pool of uncooked egg and the sausage was pretty tasteless. Recommend walking down the road to visit plenty of good cafes serving breakfast for half the price.

Perfect location and plentiful parking. Really friendly and helpful staff, who are also happy to give suggestions for sightseeing. Very good sized room, quiet and comfortable, and with a well appointed bathroom. Some nice extra touches in the room etc. Very good cooked breakfast options. I would definitely stay here again if/when I return to the area.

Lovely hotel , staff and property superb , poor nights sleep as the fire alarm went off at 02:45 am ! We was woken up startled in confusion whether or not to get dressed and run out . Alarm went off after about a minute and struggled to get back to sleep !
