Top Brighton and Hove Hotel Reviews
The Grand Brighton
10/10 Excellent
"Fabulous stay. We were so impressed with this hotel. The decor is stunning, Our room was perfect. Breakfast Lunch and drinks were excellent. Staff were extremely professional, but lacking a little in a warm welcome ( except for the long curly haired lady in bar who was particularly lovely) Duty manager went the extra mile to help us which was brilliant. Thermal suite was fab, charged at £30.00 extra but we thought they had a swimming pool but it's a small thermal pool and children cannot use it. Location can't be beaten, It is right across from the beach and a short walk to Brighton Pier, The Lanes, Aquarium, a superb food hall and lots of bars, restaurants and cafes. My only complaint was that I couldn't stay longer!"
Malmaison Brighton
10/10 Excellent
"We were stranded because of the airport shutdown and I booked the hotel without my normal thorough review… and I got very lucky. Below is my list of pros and cons… Cons first: -Late checkout is £15 per hour up to two hours. Like I get it but also… yuck. -Entrance is a bit disguised -Location is far away from Brighton Beach shopping and sights (but if you aren’t afraid of public transport, a 30 minute bus ride will get you there easily) Andddd that’s it. Pros: -Front desk personnel: Louis, Conner, and the sweet overnight desk person whose name I forgot to grab (bald, super sweet)… all incredibly helpful, kind, and funny when we were so stressed. -Air Con is great! -Balcony offered a beautiful view of the marina -Bed is comfortable as are the pillows -A new one for me, but because we chose not to have our room cleaned and had a two night stay, we got a free drink coupon. It’s nice to get something back for saving the planet (see also, saving the hotel money and time) -Anything we needed was promptly brought to the room. -The showerrrrr… it’s the first one I have seen that is intelligently designed with knobs near the entrance instead of getting sprayed with cold water while turning it on In all, we will DEFINITELY be coming back and booking here again. It was lovely, and the personnel are second to none."
The Mitre Hotel Brighton
8/10 Good
"Staff were very helpful, this is the second time we have stayed here i did book a standard room but we were put in a basic room the man on the desk did explain why and gave me some money back. The room was basically clean. Unfortunately the cooked breakfast wasn't very hot but it was plentiful. We would still stay here again as it is central to amenities."
Four Points Flex by Sheraton Brighton Seafront
10/10 Excellent
"I was very happy I paid extra for a Seaview room, the room was large and the view fantastic. Great location, right on the seafront, lovely and easy walk to either Brighton or Hove. My only concern was the bath/shower, it was an over the bath shower that was very narrow and slippery, I was very concerned about slipping."
ibis Brighton City Centre - Station
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent room staff very friendly breakfast good and the property was situated good next to railway station and not far from main areas."
Harbour Hotel Brighton
8/10 Good
"We had a very small ‘cosy’ room but it had everything you needed. The staff on check in were very polite and helpful. The spa is great, but the water in the jacuzzis wasn’t hot enough. The sauna was fantastic! The location was per perfect and breakfast well worth the money."
Holiday Inn Brighton Seafront by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"The room was very clean, the bed very comfortable. Staff were friendly and ready to help with any inquiries to make the stay easy. Check in was very quick. Free car parking a great bonus! Easy walk to a lot of attractions. Would definitely recommend others to stay there."
