Lovely property and the room we had on the 3rd floor was very big, clean and quiet. From the guest house to the pier is walkable only about a 10mins walk and plenty of shops around to grab snacks

A lovely little place. Easy to access and close to the water. The only thing that was inconvenient was the parking. The suggested parking is a bit of a walk especially when you’re carrying luggage. I would recommend to drop the bags off first before parking or organise the parking permit. Other than that, it was a lovely stay.

Well decorated, gorgeous 4 poster bed, we had everything we needed. Good location for walking to centre and cafes and pubs even closer, seafront also.

I have stayed here a few times and have always found it to be clean and pleasant. Despite being an unmanned property I felt safe and always received check-in information timely. There was tea, coffee, hot chocolate which was refilled on the morning

Great hotel

We received emails prior to getting to the hotel which was great. We entered the property and had sweets Ona rival which was lovely, we entered the room no problem and once inside we were pleasantly surprised with the room and bathroom. Lovely guesthouse and would definitely recommend and will be visiting again when in town - 5 stars!

Stayed at Colson House a few times this summer. It offers great value - large well presented double rooms, comfortable beds, small but clean bathrooms with decent showers. For a budget guesthouse it’s one of the better ones.
