「Friendly staff, great location for the museum, theatre, seafront and harbour. There is a bus stop right outside for Barnstaple for shopping. We asked if we could have a ground floor room when we booked and that was what we were given. The bathroom was large and very clean. We had to leave early as our granddaughter was unwell and the night staff were very helpful. We would stay in this hotel again. Only downside was the decor was a bit tired in our room.」

「Stayed before and so know the deal. Paid slightly more for a better room, which was lovely. Clean, spacious and comfortable with great views. Shower only warm which was disappointing. No bar, no breakfast but not bothered by lack of either. Friendly and effecient staff. Overall, value for money accommodation in heart of Lynton.」

「I was impressed with the lady who ran the hotel that night. She checked me in, instructed me where to park my car, advised where to get dinner because they didn't provide evening meals, served my drink in the bar, laid my table for my brought in take away dinner and then cleared up and still managed to do some cleaning. She made my evening very easy and pleasant. I couldn't ask for more. 」

「Upon arrival, Kevin was friendly and attentive. Rooms were airy and bright, bed was very comfotable, great sleep. Breakfast was well cooked and very tasty with good produce. Plenty of choice. Compliments to the chef!! Would definately stay here again.」
