"We recommend staying here. The location is great, near the water and a couple popular tourist sites, and within walking distance of Little Italy. The staff were friendly and helpful, and rooms were very comfortable. Also a good fairly central location if you’re driving. I’m sure we’ll be back!"

"first I bought 2 suites for my daughter's graduation. then on arrival they separated us to two different sides of hotel. one room with balcony faced all the air conditioning on top of joining building. disgusting view with loud units. The furniture has stains and wear. the sliding bath door was hanging at end not properly closing. It had water damage at edge. water pressure in one room would only go hot. The pool being at a Hardrock was only 4 ft deep and small. ( they throw pool parties there) Very little arrival parking area. The tile is delaminating from concrete throughout the hotel. loose tiles. I felt ripped off for money we spent on 2 rooms. As for the area. can't go a block with crazy amount of homeless which some harassed my daughter and boyfriend. stunk like pee everywhere . San Diego is letting down its tourists and residents big-time. so much I won't go back. dirty city. the next LA"

"Price was the best deal I could find considering what was available in the area. It is conveniently localed to the Petco stadium, the train station, the troley and has fine dining all around including a great restaurant inside. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is adequate and very clean. The only problem we had was with the elevator it was very slow and difficult to get into and out of. If you have luggage ask for help."
