「Proprietor was attentive to everyone's needs, flexible with schedules, went out of her way to create an atmosphere and provide extras which both made the visit unique. The view of the lake was stunning, the room spacious and comfortable. There was plenty of room for guests to enjoy the whole house without feeling crowded, even if the weather had become unpleasant. Rooms were light and airy, artfully decorated, with good flow. We'll go out of our way to visit again.」

「Truly Beautiful and amazing place. We loved our two night stay and would come back again and again. Loved the food from Sapalta and breakfast buffet was stellar (for purchase). The team of people working were lovely and made us feel very welcome!!! We were one of the last people to stay as it was the end of season but they never made us feel that way!」

「Our stay at the Fox and the Grapes was excellent! We throughly enjoyed the delicious breakfasts, the main fireplace in the great room/lobby, and fireplace in our East Lake room. This was the perfect home base for our Seneca Lake wine tour! We enjoyed meeting Guinness, the friendly B&B German shorthair pointer, who made us feel welcome as well. When we called the front desk about an issue in the room, she attended to it herself because the housekeeping staff was not available at that hour. She also took the trash out herself, cleaned the bathroom floor which was not really required, or expected from a front desk staff member.」
