「Clean cottage with well stocked kitchen equipment as well as board games and selection of books. Nice quiet location for local walks and quick and easy to get into the Forest of Dean.」

「I was in a single room, basic but clean. The hotel does need a refresh, and that is planned for next year. There is a gym guests can use, and spa treatments are also available (payable) in the Serenity Suite, a separate business on site. Staff were welcoming and very helpful.」

「取房時花了很久時間，因員工對程序不太熟識，lobby沒有洗手間，要辦好入住手續上房才可到洗手間，很不方便。」

「A lovely stay at The Speech House. A beautiful setting, comfortable room and a warm welcome. Perfect for a one-night stopover and a great base for exploring the Forest of Dean. Would happily stay again!」

「Ideal for Chepstow racecourse. Not much else about the area without walking or taxis. On checki the weirdest thing happened they wouldn’t take payment and told me was a,ready paid for. Rooms we had were small but the bed was comfy. Rooms ok some could do with a lick of paint. 「Room not aging well. Stained carpet. Bed linen clean. Towels clean. Shower ok.」

「kitchen closed at 6pm and no breakfast available despite having paid for it so i got a refund and didn't check in.」

「Wonderful accommodations in a most beautiful part of our world. The building is very old and this is not perfect. For us it was perfect. An excellent breakfast each morning and dinner and pints in the evening. Plenty to see nearby. We look forward to visiting again.」

「Great welcome easy check in and friendly team 😁. We arrived late after a long drive - the venue is an old pub with rooms. We navigated our way to the top floor room. As we arrived Halloween weekend we thought the dust and cobwebs in the room were part of the theme. 👻 The carpet around the bed and doors hadn’t been hoovered for months. A layer of dust was on all the light fittings and cobwebs everywhere - bed and pillows weren’t great and we could hear the noise from the high street, boy...

「Lovely staying experience, friendly staff, yummy food. Hope they can extend spa/gym room service hours」

「The room was beautifully decorated, very clean and with all the expected amenities. There were no staff on site (the key is left in a lock box). I stayed on Monday night, the restaurant is closed on Mondays (hence no interaction with staff). Unfortunately, I did not sleep very well at all due to the loudness of a generator which kept me awake all night. It felt as if I was sleeping inside a helicopter. I left the room early in the morning because I was fed up with the noise and I had...
