The room was decent and the bed comfortable. The issue we had was the bar had closed at 10.25pm and the bar staff wouldn’t serve us despite us having been told that it would be open until 11pm. We weren’t even allowed to add drinks to our bill and have them in our room because the barman said he’s closed all the tills. He said we could go to the local garage if we wanted to buy alcohol - not exactly what you expect when staying in a hotel.

Wasn’t expecting it to be as good as it was. Very comfortable bed, clean room and variety of teas. Very quiet too. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice. Would highly recommend and stay again.
