「Absolutely everything! What a great find this establishment is. If we return to Pitlochry we wouldn’t stay anywhere else. The facilities are top notch, lovely, clean and quiet room (7) in the Courtyard, huge and very comfortable bed and a very spacious and spotless bathroom. Breakfast was nothing short of exceptional! , so many choices on the menu and all breakfasts cooked fresh to order using local, fresh produce. 「Great welcome by Hayley to our cosy loch view room . Some great touches such as complementary whisky and fudge on arrival . Log fires also added to the great atmosphere. Dinner and breakfast were both excellent, thank you team ! 」

「The hotel doesn’t have an elevator. I stayed on the first floor. Actually, there is a corridor between the first floor and the carpark with a few steps only. However, the receptionist didn’t told me about that. She simply told me to carry the luggages through the normal entrance and go up one floor “ONLY” . No help had been offered and she clearly knew I got a car. Nowadays, it is not usual asking the lady customers to carry the luggages going upstairs 」

Conveniently located,with Pitlochry centre Only a 10 minute walk. We were skiing at Glenshee during our stay which was a 50 minute drive away. 」

「Dean and Paul were exceptional hosts, and within minutes after our arrival it felt like we were visiting with old friends. It truly was one of the warmest and friendliest environments I have ever experienced at a boutique hotel. Paul’s skills as a chef were amazing, as well! The breakfasts were superb and the lone dinner eaten at the hotel was also memorably delicious. Clean rooms, super staff and a great location for exploring central Scotland, the Birchwood Pitlochry checks all these boxes...

「We only has an overnight stay including dinner. A very comfortable and well located hotel. A short downhill walk to the centre of Pitlochry which was buzzing. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. The hydro was well worth a visit, and demonstrates how we should all manage green energy. The fish ladder at the hydro was fascinating.」
