「The hotel doesn’t have an elevator. I stayed on the first floor. Actually, there is a corridor between the first floor and the carpark with a few steps only. However, the receptionist didn’t told me about that. She simply told me to carry the luggages through the normal entrance and go up one floor “ONLY” . No help had been offered and she clearly knew I got a car. Nowadays, it is not usual asking the lady customers to carry the luggages going upstairs 」

「Loved this place. It’s like staying on a 21st century titanic but with out the fuss of icebergs and sinking. The view from our room was amazing. The grounds were beautiful and the staff were fantastic. We loved the little museum a fascinating insight into the history of the hotel. Special mention to the staff behind the Stags head bar (x2 Australian lasses and 1 super happy lass from a Balkan country ❤️」

「We can’t say enough good things about our two night stay. Staff were so incredibly welcoming, kind and thoughtful. We had dinner the first night and wished we could have done the second too but had theatre tickets. Food was 5* both in flavour and presentation.
