「Peter's service at check in and bar service was warm and welcoming」

「Great location, ideal for parking. Room was adequate and bathroom was more modern than room. Breakfast was very good….. self service buffet. No issues. Thank you」

「Lovely, welcoming place. Ideal for our anniversary weekend.」

「The facility was lovely, the staff, friendly and professional. Our room was just right. It was all very pleasant and we would certainly stay here again.」

「No issues with this amazing place, host so helpful and available anytime, couldn't fault it in anyway, would recommend 100%」

「There is no staff present and the hosts don't reply when you email them. The rooms are cozy and clean but not sound proof. Breakfast is provided along with fresh eggs but there's no way to cook them other than in a microwave. The bathroom has a tub and a handheld shower, impossible for anyone to shower without wetting the entire bathroom. The bathroom sink is little more than a birdbath. No fan or ventilation other than opening the front door.」

「Cosy and clean. Very good Indian food and very good Scottish breakfast.」

「We enjoyed our stay a lot. The staff are excellent. The breakfasts are large and very good. Porridge with whiskey and cream was amazing. They also have a few alcoholic drinks to purchase which was an added bonus.」

「The room was lovely, clean and had a very comfortable bed. Wifi was not working. The sink was blocked. No heating was working in the room. The phone was not working to call reception about problems. Overpriced for what we received. I was planning to book a couple of weeks later in the year for work, but without wifi I wouldn't be able to. The response I received was that it's a big place to provide wifi for every room. I've stayed in better hotels for less cost.」

「The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was well presented and delicious . The room was spotless, bed very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.」

「What a beautiful small hotel with the most helpful and respectful staff. Traditional lounge with real fire was so nice to come back to on a cold October evening. Fantastic breakfast offering cooked to your exact requirements. The room was very welcoming with lots of small but welcome additions to make your stay more comfortable. Well placed for the town which is just a short walk away.」

「The hotel doesn’t have an elevator. I stayed on the first floor. Actually, there is a corridor between the first floor and the carpark with a few steps only. However, the receptionist didn’t told me about that. She simply told me to carry the luggages through the normal entrance and go up one floor “ONLY” . No help had been offered and she clearly knew I got a car. Nowadays, it is not usual asking the lady customers to carry the luggages going upstairs 」

「Excellent stay at Moness. I had the executive room (twin room) with my daughter. The room was clean, very spacious and the bathroom was massive. Made good use of the swimming pool which was nice and warm. The restaurant was great - with all of the staff very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Can't wait to be back.」

「Beautiful location and exceptional clean property, bit vintage look but very appropriate for such a stay. Very kind and attentive owner. All over very pleasant stay, definitely would stay again Little poor breakfast choice for vegetarian」

「Beautiful place and setting. I wish we could have stayed here longer!」

「It’s very wonderful and nicely staying in pine tree hotel.」
