「This is a lovely traditional Scottish hotel situated in the charming Highland town of Aberfeldy, which is bustling with activity, with a good range of places to eat, great outdoor activities, but slightly off the main tourist drag of the A9. We stayed for three nights and had beautiful sunny weather with no rain. It was hot at night but our bedroom had a very effective and quiet fan. I can thoroughly recommend.」

「The hotel doesn’t have an elevator. I stayed on the first floor. Actually, there is a corridor between the first floor and the carpark with a few steps only. However, the receptionist didn’t told me about that. She simply told me to carry the luggages through the normal entrance and go up one floor “ONLY” . No help had been offered and she clearly knew I got a car. Nowadays, it is not usual asking the lady customers to carry the luggages going upstairs 」

I am diabetic on insulin and on a lot of medication for various health issues so all meals are impotant, we paid extra for breakfast both mornings,, we were never informed of time for breakfast and for all the things I have to do in the mornings we didn’t get down until 10am only to be told he stopped serving at 9:30...

「The room was humid and only one window opened. It was surprising that the room was not cooled down before arrival. The fan provided was small and insufficient for the room size. The carpets smelled like soap and the staff were not accommodating to our needs.」

「What a fantastic place. Comfy bed, fantastic shower and a nice big tv. Plenty tea, coffee, biscs and bottles of water in the room. Added bonus, the breakfast room is set up with same level of refreshments, all day, much appreciated after a walk up from the town in the evening. It said in the write up with Expedia that only a continental breakfast is included, this is not the case, a cooked breakfast is also available. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
