"Accommodation quality roughly in line with what you would expect for the price. Basic facilities but functional. Aircon didn't work so room was a little cooler than ideal. Room power was cut in the morning. Basic breakfast with a small range of options. Friendly staff. "

"First time staying at the Cube Hotel, and the location is fabulous. The room was spacious and bright, with a great view from the 24th floor. The room was well-appointed, with everything you'd need (safe, ironing board, mini fridge, bottled water and cookies). The air conditioning didn't seem to work, and there was a column heater in the room to compensate. The standard of the bedding didn't match the rest of the room, which was disappointing - a saggy mattress and nothing but overstuffed firm pillows. It was OK, but I had expected better. Several issues in the bathroom, which I reported to reception on check out - a constant drip from the shower, a leak under the basin, and the drain in the shower was almost fully blocked, which meant I had to turn the shower on and off to make sure it didn't flood the bathroom. The restaurant on the 25th floor (Marco Pierre White) was fabulous, and the cooked-to-order breakfast was a standout. Despite a few niggles, I would definitely stay again."
