"I have stayed at this property over twenty times. The staff is great. Staff remember you from previous stays. Room was clean and AC is great. Breakfast is always good. The property is beginning to show its age. My only complaint was the WiFi was spotty. In the past I never had WiFi issues and it seemed that way in most areas of the hotel. Overall another great stay, I will stay there again. "

"Really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Plaza Cozumel. The room was clean and comfortable, the air conditioning worked well, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout the stay. The location was convenient and made it easy to get around town and to the waterfront. Breakfast was simple but good. Overall, a solid place to stay and I’d definitely consider staying here again."

"What is a decent place. Had a partial ocean view not a full on ocean view. We had a huge part of the hotel to our left. Which blocked a lot of the view. We were right off the street so it was pretty busy and loud. Very convenient to city life and walking at night. Very safe. Nice restaurants around. Would probably skip next time due to the noise level. Lotta construction going on. Breakfast was not included for us, but we did eat breakfast there once and the food is great. There is a gated, covered parking area for your car or scooter. Secure. If you’re looking for the resort life, this is not it. If you’re looking for a place to crash while you dive every day, this could be it."

"Probably the nastiest hotel I have ever stayed in. Cockroachs everywhere, stains on the sheets. Everything looks like it's 30 years old. Holes in the doors, not kidding. Light coming through the middle of the door. If you want to take a nap during the day good luck with the loud music playing all day until about 10pm. I have seen homeless shelters nices that this hotel. The staff is rude. DO NOT STAY HERE ITS AWFUL."

"Lovely traditional hotel off the main streets of Cozumel, but close enough to walk to the city center. Comfortable clean room, with a delicious home-cooked breakfast. Responsive host."

"I wouldn’t return to this hotel because of the mattresses. They’re extremely old—the outer fabric is so brittle that it’s shedding and turning to dust. There was also a small hole on the side of the mattress. Because of the mattress, it felt unsanitary. If it wasn't for the mattress I'd come back again. I would not recommend to my friends. However, the staff were nice, the property's location was great, and I felt safe."
