「Beautiful grounds. Friendly staff. Full sized shower was a nice surprise. Bed and bedding were comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Black out curtains really kept out early morning sun.」

「Beautiful row of houses. Close to beach. Parking available outside property on quiet street. Basic room with sink, shared toilet and shower. Nice warm room. Tv, tea, coffee and biscuits. Comfy bed. Bathroom was on another floor, up squeeky stairs. But ok. Breakfast wasn't till 8.30 which is a bit late for me. I was on the road by 7.30. Great value for money.」

「We stayed 2 nights here . What a wonderful hotel . The staff were amazing. Helpful and very friendly . First night we ate in the restaurant. Food was plentiful hot and so delicious What a star Neil our waiter was . Happy to chat about the area and gave us some ideas of where and what to visit . Loved the ladies at breakfast who were so attentive . Again food amazing and piping hot til the last mouthful . Thank you Duck Bay Im sure we will return one day .」

「Lovely, clean and warm. Ideal location for the train and a walk to the beach. We enjoyed our time here and would definitely book again. 」

「Staff was the BEST part of our stay! Attentive & went above & beyond. We had an early flight and they still accommodated breakfast to go for us. Rooms were clean & bed was comfortable. Parking however can be limited and you may have to park on the street. However you can pull up to the main entrance to drop your luggage with the staff so you do not have to make the (very) short walk if you have to street park. Thank you for a wonderful stay!」

「We have stayed here before and it is a good practical option for us when we visit family. It is clean modern and nice and warm. We have stayed twice before in different rooms, both of which were bigger than the one we had this time. It would really have been more suitable for a single guest. That being said, we did manage ok for 2 nights. We did notice the noise from other guests a bit more this time than we did before. The location is ideal as there are shops, bars and decent restaurants...

「Property needs an upgrade. My room was large and airy but the bathroom shower rail was very rusty . The staff are very polite and helpful and the food was of good standard.Will probably not stay again.」
