Nice and clean

Nice and clean. It was a very comfortable stay. The shower rooms and toilets are very clean. I am very enjoyed my stay. I have some comments for improvement. The corridor's is too loud, it may be better to have some light/relax music instead of metal/pop music . The flow of the water tape in WC is too strong, maybe better to turn it down a little bit. It was quite messy when I was washing hands. I did not realise there are female only shower room. I used the unisex one. For the female only shower room, I think it would be better to have an extra lock (password lock or key lock) at the first door. Because everyone still can access into the female only shower room.

Good Experience

Overall the experience is good. Washroom is clean and bed is clean. Reception fellows are polite and helpful. Location is right in the centre of Glasgow.

They don’t mention 1 time that you can hear clubs downstairs all hours of the night, and I was visiting on week nights not even weekending I assume it’s much worse on the weekends . They provide you with ear plugs but I believe they should be disclosing this information before booking and payment. Windows don’t open at all so the room is constantly musty. Showers were clean that’s the only good thing I can say.

I love staying at Revolver it's right in the middle of town close to major transport links, it is always spotless and clean and the staff are fab. Down side is the nightclub/bar downstairs it's open till 3Am but what do you expect in yhe middle of town.

This is one of the worst hostels I’ve ever stayed in. My first night there was a Saturday night and I was in room 212. The nightclub below the hostel was so loud that it shook the bed. They don’t seem to care that people are yelling either. The noise didn’t stop until nearly 4am. My last two nights were a little quieter. There was someone in the room who snored so loud it sounded like a chainsaw was running. I woke them up probably a dozen times on Sunday night. The security guy stands by the front door and smokes so the entire place smells like cigarette smoke. Are you old enough to remember 1997 AOL dial up internet? Unfortunately you’ll wish their internet is as fast as that. It’s so slow it’s worthless. If you want to sleep, do not stay here.

The room was dirty visibly i have pictures and videos. The decor was dated. The entrance way to the hotel had guests loitering drinking alcohol and smoking all hours of the day and night. Very intimidating environment fir a woman and child alone

Room Nice and clean. staff friendly, couldn’t fault it. Although not private bathroom which wasn’t clearly advertised and wouldn’t have booked if I realised. Room was good size though but people coming in at 3am without consideration of other sleeping ruined it slightly.

Revolver is like a cool, queer-friendly frat house (which could be super fun!) — except I’m a 34-year-old woman who has regrettably aged out of the vibe. Pros: - Chic aesthetic. - Large, stylish (but kinda dark) rooms. - Amazing location near Central and Queen Stations. - Friendly staff. - Plenty of showers. - Delmonica’s, the queer club downstairs, is super fun! Cons: - It is SO. F***ING. LOUD. OMG. Between the two nightclubs downstairs (one closes at 4AM!!!) and the people upstairs (making attempts at?) having sex - dear Lord, I did not have even one restful night! The complimentary earplugs, coupled with my noise-canceling headphones were no match. I was on the first floor, right above/inside (?) the subwoofers apparently. Please invest in soundproofing! - Bathrooms were gross by evening — smelly, unflushed toilets, sticky floors. Not the fault of staff, but other guests. - A bit unsocial in common areas. Not a big deal, just less friendly than I expected. I’m writing this at 3AM before a morning flight, with bass vibrating my whole room (great DJ though) and yelling from drunk Saturday night patrons. I’m not a light sleeper, but unfortunately I am a bit too grown for this. If you’re younger than me, I love this for you! But if you’re at that stage of life where you like to do your hour-long night routine in the privacy of your own bathroom — and excessive noise has started to give you tinnitus and a headache — lovingly skip this one, babe. Your ears will thank me 😘

The lobby smelt of fresh vomit all the time. The “upgraded room” had a leaking smell of sewage in the night, and I could hear the sewage pipe very loud and clear running down the side of the wall, like people upstairs were flushing the toilets very frequently. The loud club music downstairs was invasive. Overall no where near worth £240 for 3 nights. Very overpriced, and I am not satisfied.

We had a private room with a double bed, was very comfy and room was clean, we arrived 20-30 minutes before check in and was able to head to room straight away, would definitely stay again!
