Lovely polite reception staff, clean modern room which provided all practical appliances such as coffee machine,iron power shower etc.decor was very nice, good lighting and central heating.The food at breakfast was excellent,hotel is rated 4 star on websites we would dispute that it felt like 5.

Love staying here. Good rooms and comfy beds. Staff are very welcoming and during our stay we called reception to ask if they had a sewing kit, which was then delivered to our room. Great service. Will def return.

I was staying for Celtic Connections. The room was very clean. The breakfast was good, although like to see more originality with buffet breakfasts. What was the best element was the musicians in the bar until the early hours. They aren't there every night but when they are, it's great.
