「We clearly went in the off season, mid January, so there were few guests, which we didn’t mind at all. Free Breakfast buffet was excellent as was the hotel’s service the entire time.」

Hotel on this island is a better option than a Airbnb due to no good restaurants that serve breakfast. All restaurants on the island start serving food at noon. 「Our experience at the hotel was fabulous. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming. I can say I didn't encounter any staff who weren't great. The room was spotless and a good size. Our balcony overlooked downtown and the harbour beyond. The breakfast included fruit, cheese and bread along with items such as omelettes cooked to order. We also, enjoyed our stop at the bar/restaurant. Overall, a very enjoyable visit to Ponta Delgada. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.」

「The Farm is a small boutique hotel. We stayed in family room for 6 nights. The room was clean and spacious. The staff was very accommodating and friendly with personalized service. The breakfast menu is small but offers everything you need for healthy, delicious meals and they prepare food to your liking. We didn't use the pool as it was cold outside but it looked very clean. The hotel has small banana plantation and you can enjoy eating bananas grown in there. There are also chicken and rabbits...
