"The staff was helpfull, the location was near a city center and the port. We used a parking service provided by the hotel. The indoor pool and sauna was good to use on a rainy afternoon. The only negative experience we had with housekeeping as they did provide clean towels or toiletries when used and we had to chase them from the reception."

"Wonderful stay at Azores Homes, felt like the most comfortable and luxurious home away from home. The apartment was huge and perfectly appointed with every cooking implement we could have needed. The staff were always available to help via WhatsApp. The pool and gardens were beautiful and perfectly kept. It felt peaceful and calm. We even had a small kids play park we were right next to, couldn't have asked for more. Also had an excellent massage and they took great care of me on my birthday. All in all highly recommended."

The location is a bit isolated but very peaceful and conveniently located between many attractions on both ends of the island. "Amazing stay!! Starting with seamless communication with Pauloch prior to arrival due to travel delays and continuing with greetings upon arrival with such a warm welcome. The team was helpful every day, providing delicious breakfast and warm greetings every morning, and wonderful recommendations for food/sight seeing. We caught a travel bug and Paulo very generously offered tea/toast to help out. Very clean, well-kept housing and gorgeous gardens throughout the property. Located just outside of Riviera Grande so easy access to the island. Look forward to returning!!"

"We had a fabulous stay at Maison Emeraude. Franck and Miguel were wonderful and attentive hosts. We stayed there for two nights during our honeymoon and only wished we could have stayed longer! The breakfasts were incredible and we chose to have dinner there, which they offer every other night (don't miss it!). They also have a menu of snacks and drinks to choose from during the day. The room is incredibly spacious and steps away from a beautiful pool. The design aesthetic and hospitality of this place are 10/10. We hope to return some day and cant wait to recommend Maison Emeraude to any friends visiting Sao Miguel Island. You wont regret staying here!"
