"Was traveling with a friend and we both booked rooms without windows. My room was considerably smaller than hers; like so small, that if my suitcase was open on the floor, there was no walkway to the door. A windowless room is fine if you are just staying a night or two, but if you are staying more, it will feel a little like a dungeon (we stayed 4 nights). The shower door really should have been mounted on the other side. If you are in a larger body, you’d never make the small gap to get into the shower because the sink stuck out in front of the shower entrance. The air conditioning was a nice relief as we were there during a heat wave, which was probably the only saving grace. There is weird “mood lighting” that it took me forever to figure out how to turn off and I had to turn it off every night. Everything costs extra. You want to check in early, that’s £15. You want to store your bags, that’s £3 per bag. I didn’t bother with breakfast. Also, the main elevators are wildly small. There is a larger elevator in another hall that is best to take luggage in."
"Room very tired. Not ready when we arrived didn't get in till after 3.
Booked and paid for a late checkout in the evening of our stay as we wanted to rest. Housekeeping knocked on our door at 8am woke us up then opened the door at 11am we were half dressed late check out was 12. Not impressed and would guess as there is now no proper reception that information is not passed on to house keeping never the less we were woken and paid £20 for the privilege.
No tea/coffee making facilities in the room which to me is unacceptable
Have stayed here many times before but will think twice before I/we stayed here again."
"If you accept that it’s an airport hotel and therefore a conveyor belt of people then it’s fine (if expensive) for its convenience to T5. Check in usually involves a queue, the bedrooms need a general update and the in room tech is antiquated (only miracast for the TVs - no plug sockets next to the bed let alone usb’s - touch button light switches broken etc). Feels a bit of a time warp really and could do with a refurb."
"We have stayed here three summers now. Convenient location. Good access to underground. Good restaurants nearby. Easy to get to from Heathrow and st. Pancras station. "
"I recently stayed at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge and had an excellent experience.
The location is outstanding and hard to beat for sightseeing in London. Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, the London Eye, Uber Boat services, and several HOHO bus stops are all within easy walking distance. Buckingham Palace is also a pleasant walk away.
My room was comfortable and well-equipped with a comfortable bed and pillows, a safe, mini-fridge, kettle, coffee and tea facilities, and even a lovely view of Big Ben. There was an ice bucket and an ice dispenser on every floor.
The room is equipped with a safe, mini fridge, a US power outlet, a USB and USB-C port.
The hotel staff were welcoming, helpful, and attentive throughout my stay. I arrived after an overnight flight and the front desk (Tiffany) kindly allowed me to check in about three hours early so I could rest and refresh, which I greatly appreciated. The doorman is excellent. He has the biggest smile & he helped me locate my airport pickups london driver.
I signed up for the eco-housekeeping option and received a £10 food voucher, yet housekeeping still came daily to make the bed, refresh towels, and empty the trash.
The breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide variety of choices. My recommendation is to add breakfast when making your reservation, as it cost about £17 when booked in advance compared to approximately £25 if purchased separately.
Safe to walk at night."
