「Overnight stay for a gig at Powderham Castle. Great hotel just off the motorway spotlessly clean, modern with super friendly staff. Rooms are lovely, functional and quiet. Spacious bathroom and wonderfully comfortable beds. Light and airy communal areas and a large outdoor seating area with table service for the bar/restaurant. Fab buffet breakfast too. Whilst I don’t think there’s much within walking distance it suited our needs perfectly and would 100% stay here again.」

「On first arrival the car park had plenty of space with a gentle slope to reception. Rang the bell to check in. All very pleasant. Guys name is John and he is as nice as they come. Checked in a went to room. All very nice again. It’s what you need on a business trip. Tv. Bed. Kettle and shower. Had a beer in the bar, good selection of tap beers. I’d missed the kitchen due to my arrival time but he offered sandwiches, pizza etc out of hours. Enjoyed a few beers in the bar and got my head down....

「We loved our stay with you. The hotel was so well kept and so clean everywhere. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and airy. I like the touch of water provided each day and the small packets of biscuits. We loved sun bathing by the swimming pool ,but some of the sunbeds could do with a good clean, which only takes seconds with a pressure washer. We wished we had a longer stay, but we work for several charities and don't have much free time to ourselves. My only...

「Our room 172 was clean, spacious and included an en-suite walk in shower. Breakfast included English style cooked , yogurt & berries, cereals, fruits, toast with all jams, marmite and honey. mini pastries were also available. We ate in the dining room and from the bar menus. Staff were very professional, kind and gave service with a smile. To note Mel from the Spa was fantastic, we had x2 full hour treatments each 」

The breakfast was delicious with lots of options to choose from, providing a perfect start to each day. The property was very clean and well-maintained.
