"There are so many superlatives to describe this hotel, but I will say this is our only hotel from now on at Budapest. The interior lobby is architecturally, significant beautiful, but also a creative way to use existing space. The staff has excellent English, so there are never any miscommunications. They are eager, excited to be helpful. They are literally thrilled to hear that we had returned for a second visit because they are our favorite hotel. The room looks glamorous and historic at the same time. Our window looked out into the atrium, but that still meant plenty of natural light. It was completely immaculate. It felt like no one else had ever stayed there except for us. There’s a place to check your luggage both before and after your stay so you can maximize all of your vacation time for what you want to do which is to see Budapest. The Nespresso machine with two capsules per person is perfect, but if we had needed more capsules, it was no problem. The main service is daily if you like, and it was so refreshing to come back after a hectic day and see the room tidied and clean. The items in the fridge are a mini bar and at a charge, but I compared the charge to the local grocery stores, and considering it saves you the trouble of leaving your room when you’re tired it is not much of a markup at all. The breakfast is amazing with both standard and local specialties, including champagne. Just the best."

"The gym has a weight set, a few weight machines, three treadmills, and a few exercise bikes. It's a little small when five people are all trying to stretch and lift weights at the same time. I think to ease up on some of the traffic in the gym, it should open up at 0500 for the people who like to work out before 0600 when the gym actually opens up."

"Great hotel and in a fantastic location, the sky bar was amazing with a view of the Danube. I haven’t marked the hotel down on this but there was a rock band that set up outside the hotel each night and it was extremely loud, don’t know if this is usual and when we visited the sky bar because we weren’t sure we would spend €100, bearing in mind we already had a voucher for a free cocktail, we were sat around the back. This was disappointing as we are gold members."
