"Nice staff"

"The rooms could use a bit of an update. There was chipped paint all over the place and the carpet was stained. The toilet didn’t work well and the shower water could scald someone. The room also was very hot— the heat was working almost too well and there was no way to cool it down. The staff always very nice and the breakfast was great. "

"I booked my room 2 weeks in advance. All paid for. When I got there past midnight they said they were “sold out” on all rooms and didn’t have any rooms available because I “missed my check-in”. They placed me at a nearby hotel that was still under construction, and didn’t even have water available or a working vending machine. I was supposed to have gotten a refund and it’s almost a month later - I have not received it. "

"There's some awesome staff in the breakfast area in the morning. The guys were welcoming, prompt and created pleasant interactions first thing in the morning. There's construction going on in the hotel. It's loud, messy and inconvenient. But it mostly goes on during the day, so you can miss it if you're out exploring. Use a parking app. The cost at the hotel is quite steep. At the time of my visit, a bit over $70. Ask for extra key cards, so each person can have one. You need it for everything, lobby bathroom, elevator, pool, and gym access."

"The service at reception was among the best I've ever received. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a young woman named Ana Victoria, and upon departure, I was seen off and helped with a breakfast mix-up by an Asian young man. Both were very attentive. The room was very clean and everything was in order. Without a doubt, don't hesitate; this is the best hotel in DC."

"Front desk gentleman was very short and seemed bothered by by minimal questions. There was a large group checking in so that might be why? But he should at least let me know where the parking garage is!! The layout of the hotel is confusing and it's a lot of walking to get to your room. Room was outdated and 2 of the lights didn't even work, and with all of the rust in the shower, I certainly wasn't going to use that.I won't be back and warn others! P.S. $ 55 to park for 1 night is ridiculous 🙄 "
