"We had a room in the basement. There was no ceiling fan, but the swamp cooler worked well. I would probably select a different hotel if traveling in warmer months. The staff was very nice and helpful. The only real amenity was a pot of coffee in the lobby. The location worked really well for us! Great smoothie place right around the corner, and highly recommend Black Whiskey for a drink if you like cool, dice bar vibes. "

"Our stay was nice, we were there for 1 night and explored DC in the first part of the day and headed on our journey. We picked this hotel because of the location and the pool for the kids - huge plus! Our only complaint is that the bathroom smelled a bit moldy and there was visible water damage to the bottom of the bathroom door. Other than that, valet service was great, concierge was great, breakfast was fantastic and the location is perfect!"
