「There is no air con and the window cannot be opened. There is no curtain near the bath tub. No staff come to clean up after 11 am. Breakfast which costs 12.5 pounds but very few choices . Small hotel not quite the same as in the advertisement. 」

「Every time we come back to the Royal, it never ceases to disappoint. The staff are the people who make this such a special and charming hotel. The warmest of welcomes and we were so well taken care of. Attentive and polite customer services, similar to that of Ashford Castle, that seems to be lost in many establishments these days.
