Had a very comfortable stay at Smiddy Haugh. Very clean and comfortable room with nice toiletries in bathroom. Owners were very welcoming and made us aware of all relevant information, I.e. heating, dining, check out, car parking.
We had a delicious breakfast and would certainly recommend and visit again.

Niki & Richard are great hosts. Lovely atmosphere, relaxed and friendly. Food is wonderful. Its an old pub so rooms are eclectic in style but nice, clean and comfortable. Very dog friendly!
We have stayed several times and absolutely love it.

Excellent stay at the Smiddy Haugh
Stayed here with our two dogs . Beautiful hotel in a fantastic setting, owners and staff great , breakfast fab and we ate there both nights and it was great . Brilliant beer garden at the rear we loved it here and will definitely return here with our boys . Great location for getting out and about sightseeing

We immediately wished we could stay more than one night here. The food is great and the little Beer Garden in back was so lovely. We had a great time talking with the locals in the Pub as well.
