「Grand old building , room clean and tidy , excellent night’s sleep . Breakfast good loved the timed sit down . Significant problem in that to ensure right mix of tables, all through the meal tables were being dismantled rolled out to a storage room and others replaced and set . A bit like breakfast whilst refurbishment on going .」

「Very relaxing quiet stay with good service throughout. The food inc. breakfasts were excellent. Rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The Grounds are peaceful and the Estate is due to be extensively developed/ improved in the coming 12 months」

「Stayed in a Garden Room which was lovely and had everything we needed. Very comfortable bed, good bathroom and comfortable chairs for a pre-dinner drink. Enjoyed Breakfast both in the hotel and in the pub. Good base for two days of walking. 」

「Lovely stay , very comfortable hotel. Excellent Customer service. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and very obliging. We ate in the restaurant both evenings and couldn’t fault our meals at all. Very good quality food. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. 」

「Lovely hotel, right next to the entrance to Alnwick Castle. The hotel itself is lovely, with helpful and friendly staff, lovely rooms (exactly as described on their website), nice relaxing bar. the perfect place for a weekend getaway. We were there for two nights and decided to eat in the restaurant on our second evening. The food was delicious. My wife and I shared the Chateaubriand and it was cooked perfectly.
