「The small village of Tarland is very quiet, so we were surprised at just how good the Commercial Hotel is. I understand that a lot of walkers & cyclists use the hotel and I'm not surprised, as it is in beautiful surroundings and only 5 miles from Aboyne. We received a very pleasant welcome, and our room was large, beautifully furnished and very quiet. 「A great place for families to stay with lots of lounge space for visiting with family and games for kids. The breakfast buffet was delicious and the location very convenient. Our family suite was spacious, clean, and comfortable. My only recommendation (as a parent with small children) would be to add a small fridge to keep snacks/drinks/leftovers cool. A wonderful stay!」

「飯店環境優美，一切都好，不知道是飯店老了要整修還是怎麼樣，住宿的品質很差。我們住的房間外面的樓梯正在重新裝修，樓梯漆的味道都蔓延到房間裡頭，真不知道為甚麼可以認為可以把客人安排在這樣的房間裡頭？另外，更可怕的是，早上起床廁所的天花板開始漏水，有兩條水柱從上面嘩啦啦噴下來，一個還是在洗手台上方（有照片為證）！真的很不悅，希望飯店可以為我們的住宿品質打折而為作出補償。」

「Great stay and thanks for the upgrade. One suggestion - single use slippers! Guests from Asia are used to this, and makes them more comfortable with sanitation given rooms are carpeted.」

「Location for early flight is perfect. Breakfast starting at 5am is also a great asset and the breakfast was very good. We had an issue with the chair in our room needing cleaning and we brought it up to the front desk staff who were horrified by that and extremely apologetic. The room was sizeable, quiet and the facilities are excellent the lift is quick which makes for a pleasant experience.」
