"Cabin was cosy and fun for the kids, there were a lot of spider webs on the underside of the bunk beds which freaked my son out as he hates spiders. Overall it’s a nice quiet and relaxing place for a break. We enjoyed roughing it by cooking on a small stove. The maintenance guys were very helpful for retrieving a shuttlecock we hit on the roof. Would definitely stay again. "

"The pool was cold and sauna wasnt working. These were two of the main reasons we booked the stay. I rang before booking to ensure a pet friendly property was available and no one mentioned this. The accomodation was very basic with a really hard bed in the master. The kettle leaked from the base, there was broken glass underneath my son’s bed and one of the seats of the sofa was collapsed. "We had a brilliant stay here just after Christmas for 6 nights. The cottage was spotless, really comfortable, and had everything we needed—it felt like a proper home away from home. The kids absolutely loved feeding the farm animals every morning (so did we!) it was such a fun way to start the day and definitely made the stay extra special. Carolyn and Carl were fantastic hosts—so friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. We’d definitely recommend to anyone looking for a family...

"I would highly recommend this hotel. We had a Valley view room, which was super spacious with amazing views of the deer park. We also had dinner in Smiths Brasserie, which was informal but with very tasty food and great service."
