the staff were so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The biggest wow was their amazing menus for breakfast an evening meal. All cooked to perfection and every bit the epitome of careful professional presentation and flavour. Definitely returning to this jewel in south Hams of Devon.

We had a lovely three day stay at the Plantation House Hotel. Our suite was spacious very clean. Bar. Lots of choices of beer wine and spirits and nibbles before dinner. Dining. The menu was absolutely first class cooked and presented to a very high standard, absolutely loved the lamb. Breakfast. Again lots of choice with yoghurt, porridge, cereals and then of course there is different options for your cooked breakfast. Every member staff were absolutely fantastic and so helpful, an asset to the hotel. I would also like to say a special thank you to Richard the proprietor. We had a small problem during our stay and I have to say Richard went above and beyond to rectify it for us. I would highly recommend the Plantation House Hotel you will not be disappointed. What a find. Fabulous small hotel with an excellent eye for detail, customer service from all the staff was above and beyond. The set menu meals were amazing. Hats off to the chef. My only gripe would have to be the milk pots in the room. A small thermos perhaps? But overall an absolutely excellent place to stay.
