"This was ideal for me. I loved it here. It was really peaceful. I couldn't hear a thing apart from the birds and the occasional sheep. I stayed for 4 days and I wished it could have been longer. There is no TV in the hut which also suits me to the ground. The wi-fi is excellent so if you do want to watch something on an I pad or tablet you will have no problem with the reception. "It was a lovely self- contained property for one or two people. I think it would feel crowded for any more. The hosts even bought a new TV when i couldn't watch the Olympics on the old one. The games room was great but if I hadn't known the people in the cottage next door, I don't know how i would have gained access. "This is a lovely cottage with everything you need and the host is helpful and pleasant. The garden at the back is wonderful for a dog and ours loved zooming round..The only fault we found was the walk to anywhere including the pub was very steep and we never made it all the way and walked for 20mins and turned back. If you are prepared for that then this is a great place to stay."

"arrived to be greeted by one of the bar staff who was very friendly, then the manager came to see us and signed us in, explained about time of breakfast, then helped us up stairs with our overnight bags. such a really nice gentleman, his name was Dave. the room was very clean and tidy, lovely white fluffy towels, plenty of tea, coffee etc. Breakfast was so good, and plenty of it , that was an extra charge of £9 pp, so worth it. would definitley stay again."
