"Hotel was lovely, old in style by very grand. Lovely warm rooms, shower over bath but was excellent. Room had empty cupboard for a fridge but non provided. No plug sockets next to bed for phones. Spacious and free car park. Great location. Very grand high end dining room, excellent staff. Would highly recommend. "

"Really lovely stay here. Staff were friendly, helpful and worked together well as a team which shone through. We stayed in a cottage room in the garden which was well appointed, clean, spacious and had an outdoor verandah area for sitting. It was peaceful and well maintained. Other parts of the grounds were not so well kept but as a whole it was fine. A little off the beaten track but the food was excellent and generous so no need to go elsewhere. "
