I can't recommend this hotel enough! Our adult family of 6 stayed here for two nights on a trip to visit Dartmoor from the US. Jakes and Jane were so hospitable and kind, and the hotel is extremely comfortable. We wished we could stay longer.

What a find! A quaint old building oozing character with everything you need for a peaceful, relaxing break. We wanted for nothing and the hosts couldn’t do enough to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfect. Breakfast was top notch. Overall excellent value for money. Perfect stay

Yet again, a lovely stay over in this beautiful hotel with fantastic service whilst visiting family. Everything perfect, the location, the hotel, the room and the breakfast. I can’t say there is a more hospitable and welcoming place I’ve stayed, and I do like a lot of holidays and breaks every year. 100% recommended and I’ll definitely be back to stay here in the coming months.

Our stay

The staff were extremely helpful and on hand if and when we needed them. This is an old building which has kept its character which added to the experience. The room had an en-suite and was clean and the water was nice and hot. They don’t do evening meals but Okehampton is not far away so eating out is not a problem. Breakfast was excellent and plenary of choice.
