"I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The room was cozy, and I loved the history behind the building. There were are few little glitches that the staff attended to when I raised the issue (no hot water for the shower, left cleaning rags in the room, didn't replace towels after cleaning the room). The gym was very well equipped. The location couldn't have been better. I highly recommend the hotel."

"We love the Royal York. Paul at the first desk was an absolute angel. We arrived early and he had a room for us. It was my daughter’s birthday and he had sweets and drinks sent up. He was incredible. This hotel, with its history, staff and ambience makes you feel like royalty. We love it here and always go back. Make sure you get a drink at the Library as well. Highly recommend"

"The room was perfect, clean and a perfect view of the falls and surrounding area. We had the Brazilian dinner at Brasa, delicious. Breakfast was delicious the coffee delicious. Plan to go back in the fall."

"If you have a car be prepared to pay 50/night for parking which is pretty common for all downtown properties. This property is affordable so it does offset the cost.fpr parking. Smaller rooms are perfect for solo traveler or a very close couple lookingfor an intimate space. The only other thing is you can hear the party crowd at 3AM on Saturday night after bar close but that might be common for downtown property. Great staff, awesome free coffee, ice water and bacon, egg, cheese breakfast sandwhich (small fee for breakfast sandwhich). Cute lobby. Great diner across street for lunch! Walgreens 1 minute away."

"Don’t use the valet, they will damage your car! I paid 75$ for valet parking and they damaged my bumper! Definitely not worth 450$ a night! Also the hot tub handle was broken ."
