Walking into this hotel was inviting, it felt like walking into someone's home. People were chatting in the coffee bar, others on the sofas, It was all very casual and inviting.
The front desk staff were quick and friendly to check us in.
We were not in our room long the first night as we were meeting friends for dinner and drinks. However in the morning when I went to shower I realized the entry to the shower was very restricted, less than a foot wide, this was due to a small wall jetting out and blocking the entrance. This may not be an issue for some but I have balance issues and getting in and out of the shower can be challenging some days.
So I requested a room change and the staff had no issues with moving us. Our next two nights were fantastic. The whole area is bustling and there are lots of places to eat and drink.
We walked up to Eaton Center, and walked to Rogers Center and the CN tower quite easily with no problems. It is also a very short walk down to the harbor with plenty of places to eat and relax.
You can easily take the train from the airport to this hotel as its a very short walk from Union Station. We took Lyft both ways which was more economical for us and the only issue was of course traffic.
I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back.
