「My experience at Umi Tulum was wonderful! First, the property looks exactly like the photos. Everything was incredibly clean, I was surprised of how well they cleaned the sand from our room each day! The private pool, restaurant, cafe, and beach club were all spectacular. However, the best part of our stay were the people. All of the staff were so kind and the service was top notch. Diego especially went above and beyond to make sure we had a safe and exciting trip. 「Highly recommend finding another place to stay in Coba or elsewhere. This place is clearly gearing up to be sold. Almost no staff around, and limited service.
We booked this hotel to use the complimentary bikes and access to spa services as provided in the description when booking as we wanted to bike to the Coban ruins. They did not have these, so we decided to check out the next day. The front desk manager, who had no idea of anything going on, checked us out and said we would be refunded...

「The room was gorgeous in my opinion. The layout was great.
Even though we didn't use the pools on the site, the pools were amazing aesthetically and just brought a sense of calmness immediately for our vacation.
I was very disappointed in myself that I didn't use the hammocks pools or gym but we made extensive use of the room and the morning breakfast was amazing.
This hasn't happened to me before, but please make sure that you have your phone working when you get into Tulum and you ask a...
