The location was perfect... two minute walk from the Tube (Circle and District lines) and a bus stop... only a mile's walk to Harrod's, Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace- Parliament Square/St. James Park just beyond that. The room itself was not huge but was certainly adequate with TWO comfortable chairs to sit in. The staff was very helpful, and the cleaning service was excellent. "

"I was looking for a reasonably priced (for London) family room within walking distance of the US Embassy, but also close enough to attractions north of the Thames. The Carlton fit that bill. Its furnishings are a bit dated, but the family room we had was perfect for three people to lay their heads for a night. It's a five minute walk to Pimlico tube station, which gets you to Victoria and onwards easily. The area was super quiet at night--and that's with the window open. Staff interaction...
