"Everything was great with this property. I checked in a day early but they only had a two bedroom available. When I got my room the next day Dave took care of all my stuff and moved it to the second floor no elevator just stairs with complete hospitality When I checked in Joel was really helpful with fishing info and made the stay very welcoming. "We often stay at the Cambria pines Lodge. I personally like that the grounds are walkable with small trails and extremely well maintained. The lodge had live music after 5pm. "

"Nice cheaper hotel for Santa Cruz. Needs to be updated. Couple of staff aren't friendly or helpful. Housekeeping knocked on door early. Shower drain spout haf pink ring on it and toilet paper flakes on toilet paper holder like it wasn't dusted at all. They did housekeeping while we were gone and did a good job. Breakfast was okay. Pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, cereal, oatmeal, toast, bagels, cinnamon rolls, muffins, juices, milk, coffee and etc. "
