The staff is second to none. During this time of renovations with the lobby, coffee area and great room being closed the staff did its best to accommodate. Room was clean and comfortable. Sufficiently stocked kitchen made cooking in the room easy. Hosted 3 dinner parties with 10-12 people per setting up on the terrace and patio allowed for everyone to have a seat at the table. 2nd year here with plans to return next year.

The staff was super helpful and accommodating The lobby, breakfast area,business center and multi function room are being renovated and will be until May. Not having access to the multi function room and business center really limited my options for work and entertaining. Austin, Elaine and the rest providing a monitor for work and extra dishes and flat ware for entertaining.

We were given an absolutely stunning room with the ocean view!!! The room itself has been all updated. We also love the free coffee and tea available all day long. The heated pool and spa offers a great way to get some exercise and to unwind.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay. The room was clean and much larger than we anticipated for a mini suite. We arrived early and our room was ready so we were able to check in sooner. The entire staff was accommodating, friendly and helpful. We loved all of the amenities from the gym to the games and fire pit. We can’t wait to return and stay longer.

We spent 4 nights here in mid October in a one bedroomed unit. The building and grounds were very well maintained and the unit was modern and stylish with plenty of home comforts. The kitchen had plenty of utensils and crockery for preparing cold or hot food. A nice pool area which was not crowded during our visit (neither was the resort) and whilst we didn’t make use of the BBQ grills, we saw a number of others doing so. We enjoyed sitting on our balcony which had a view of the beach. A short walk to the beach and some local restaurants and only a short drive to San Luis Obispo and the PCH. This is a good alternative to a hotel room with the additional space and options to self cater and we wouldn’t hesitate to chose a vacation club in future.

This hotel has stunning views of Avila Beach. Its located on top of a hill so we were able to relax with perfect view and sound of waves. We took short walks to Avila and Port San Luis to eat. Staff was nice. We didnt get our room clean throughout our stay and the fire alarm woke us up both nights at 4am. Both times were false alarms but very scary. The hotel only has coffee it would be nice if they would add continental breakfast since restaurants are walking distance or expand their pool table area by adding a bar & lounge. Every business and restaurant closes at 8pm so it would be nice to have something to do. Our overall stay was very relaxing for our first time at Avila.

We had a newly remodeled room really nice Since we are not time share owners our view was a little obstructed by the red roof but from the bedroom and living room you could see and here Avila bay The rooms were quiet lovely pool and hot tub super drivable to morro bay and pismo The staff was fantastic !
