I’m torn on the review. It is a strange place. Spread out buildings that are confusing to find, outdated rooms with no HVAC at all, limited dining options, (Breakfast from 7 - 8, dinner from 7 - 8:30), I can’t say that I would ever stay there again. Still, it is in a beautiful area and the price was reasonable.

We enjoyed the lush grounds, the extensive boardwalk, and the history of the facilities. The buildings were all very well maintained and accessible. Loved our stay.

Friendly and professional reception, cafe, gift shop, and housekeeping staff, the lovely Jane bright and chipper at our midnight check-in after travel delays, ocean waves heard from our rooms, boardwalks on the sand dunes down to the beach, comfortable beds and linens, great food in the cafe. A prime property for a reasonable price.

I loved my staying the only thing I have to complain is about the fire on the fireplace the lodge social room, every time someone put fire in it the smoke was goi g to my room, I have allergy because of the smell of smoke I started feeling my allergy and also I was feeling like second hand smoker. Not health at all
