Punta Cana Kid friendly Vacations

I've been to many similar all inclusive resorts, and while this one is not perfect, it really deserves a 5* rating compared to other similar properties. The resort is older, but it is beautiful and spotless. The service is top notch, and consistent across the board. It's not a high energy resort, but has enough entertainment options to create a good vibe. The beach area is beautiful and well maintained. Food is pretty decent, but not great. Some negatives, the multi tier system is really annoying where some guest feel like 2nd class citizens while already paying high $$$. Lot's of weddings and corporate conventions that completely ruin the vibe, especially the corporate functions where you have a large group of folks who just want to go wild on corporate dime. Beach vendors are a disaster!! You have someone in your face literally every 45 seconds. Bring a large "No Solicitation" sign with you! Expedia Platinum "benefits" are a big joke, but that's expected.

There's a variety of food available 24 hours a day, the pools are very well maintained, and the drinks are genuine. Prices in the hotel shops are excessively high. The room service is excellent. I think they could offer more for the price.
