Amazing staff in all department! Very attentive and very prompt. Everything is clean and beautifully decorated. Strong AC even in the hallway. The room is very spacious. Comfortable bed. Great location.

The room we stayed in was basic but close to so much and we didn’t spend much time in the room. We paid for parking which made everything easier. The pool was clean and the bartender was a plus. The hotel offered beach items like chairs and snorkels. There is a restaurant and the hotel is walking distance to others. The best part besides the weather…the staff!!! Would stay here again.

First of all there were ROACHES we were told that it had been exterminated a week before we arrived the following week still ROACHES running me I killed 4 my husband killed one me Three or 4 got away. The kitchen area by the microwave smelled like urine. The washer leaked me The tub was badly stained.Pictures my fell in off the wall one larger picture had been glued previously it broke in the same spot. The smoke detector was not screwed into the wall they used stickies it fell off the wall.The bed mattress to was almost on the floor. You had to empty your own trash if you were not staying 7days you had to pay $20.00 to have linen changed. There was 1 mini ice tray no ice bucket. The molding around the baseboard had not been dusted in months. The bath tub was not conducent for seniors or people with disability. We were very disappointed stay there at your own risk we would not recommend. We are staying at my another hotel that I booked myself less so call upscale but 100percent better. Very homely. I will not use Expedia or recommend their services to any friends or family.

Luxury is often associated with extravagance, but The Kahala reminded us that true luxury is peace. From the moment you step into the lobby, the atmosphere feels calm, elegant, and unhurried. Every member of the staff we encountered was warm, gracious, and genuinely attentive, making our stay feel effortless from beginning to end. Dining was exceptional. Plumeria’s breakfast buffet offers an excellent variety of high-quality options. The Seaside Grill is perfect for a casual lunch by the pool or beach, with delicious food and refreshing cocktails. Alan Wong’s is an excellent choice for a special occasion, but Arancino was our family’s favorite. The pasta was outstanding, and after dining there twice, we only wished we had stayed long enough to try their other offerings. What truly sets The Kahala apart is its tranquility. While many luxury resorts are lively and crowded, The Kahala is a peaceful retreat where the sound of the ocean replaces the noise of the crowds. Whether relaxing on the lanai, walking the beautiful grounds, or enjoying the beach, there’s an unmistakable sense of serenity that allows you to completely unwind. The Kahala has become our family’s favorite hotel and will be our first choice whenever we return to Oahu. It is the very definition of quiet luxury, and we are already looking forward to our next stay.

The most accommodating staff at any hotel I’ve ever stayed at! Beautiful hotel with beautiful views. I’ll be back!

Lesson learned, if you noticed even a small thing inside the hotel room. Have to report it right away. I got charged of a torn curtain that was already torn when we checked in. It was my mistake i ignored it. And I got stepped on a staple wire near that curtain (twice) and me feeling tough and as usual ignored it and didn’t complained. A lesson learned indeed..

We really enjoyed our staycation! We live on the Westside and wanted a get away that wasn’t Waikiki. This was it! It was quiet and restful! I would recommend it to visitors and kamaaina’s!
