Our room wasn't ready despite arriving 2 hours after check-in (after 14hrs travel and with quick turn dinner reservations); they offered to let us use the gym to get ready!?? I was pretty shocked for the price (and for our honeymoon). The bathroom is tiny, like a 5'5 / 125lb woman knocking elbows between the sink and shower door. The room had a tiny window, so was pretty dark.
The spa is lovely, the views are stupendous. If you're a golfer, the course is gorgeous - then again, what's not gorgeous in Banff! We conveniently rented bikes on premise, though one was janky and we had to circle back to swap it out. We had a hiking guide one day (the company can only be booked as a guest), and he was so fun. The breakfast shop up front was delicious.
It's a bit out of town so you have to take a bus (runs inconsistently every ~20 minutes) as there's no uber, taxis take just about as long, and there's limited parking in town.

We got upgrade to the black diamond club and wow they made sure we were taking care of everything. Staffs are super helpful, lounge snacks are healthy and greatly appreciated.
The room is clean and the shower gives luxurious stay.
