Stayed 6 nights over the last week of Mardi Gras, booked 7 months in advance as the whole city is over priced as the event gets closer. The studio was overall great for our need. The studio was very spacious with balcony, convenient and overall quiet. We were able to prepare simple meals in the kitchen, and having laundry and drier in the studio was very convenient. Also, it provided basic detergents which were helpful. The building is historic and has its charm. The staff were all friendly and courteous. Use of swimming pool and gym was also good. Overall 9 out of 10. -1 is due to having the furniture being a bit worn out, sofa was a bit stained etc that one can find in a well used studio…. and there was no cutting board!
If it was booked close to the event when the price is 2-3 times more expensive, I think one can be little disappointed by lack of quality comparison to the price. However, without considering the potential price vs value, it was solid studio for one to stay weeks comfortably.
